Paige's Visit

Dan's cousin, Paige, came to visit us in early December for a combination birthday/meet the baby trip.  It was so great to see her and drag her all over town!  Over the course of her 30-hour visit, we went out to eat (twice), visited Santa, watched a lighted boat parade, and walked at least 10 miles.  Poor Paige!  We nearly ran that poor girl ragged.  We even orchestrated a tires-squealing, ten-minute side trip to Yogurtland just before her departure from the airport.

Paige is considering going to college next year at UCSC, which is exciting!  It would be nice to have family nearby, and we would love to have a babysitter.  We won't know her final decision until March or April, but we do hope that she'll end up here.  (Because, you know, we love her.  Plus... babysitter.  And she's a super-great kid.  Plus, babysitter.  Babysitter.  Did I mention babysitter?)

Our next adventure with Paige will take place on Valentine's Day weekend, when we go with her and Dan's aunt Wendy to tour the campus at Sonoma State.

And while I'm sure that it's a lovely school, I have a feeling it's not half as good as ours.
